In February 2022 I gave a talk entitled: Educational (Technology) Project Funding: Getting Started for the fabulous ALT 2022 CPD webinar series. Technology is intentionally in brackets as the advice is relevant to all educational projects and could even apply to awards/prize applications etc. I hope you find some useful tips in the recording/slides below and good luck for any new adventures it may lead to.
Small project funding is unquestionably the most valuable career enriching aspect of my career; collaborations, professional development, conferences, equipment and much more. For balance, however, I would also recommend reading the guest post Less is Less, by Donna Lanclos on the Letters to a Young Librarian blog.
